Our award programs exist to stimulate, showcase and surprise emerging creative talent.
Launched in 2001, the YCN Student Awards exist to unearth and showcase emerging creative excellence. Based around a collection of live creative briefs; the awards are supported by the many Universities, Colleges and Art & Design Schools across the UK. The deadline for entries as part of this latest programme is March 26th 2010. All needed to take part can be found here.
In 2009 the longstanding YCN Student Awards were extended into the professional realm with the launch of the new A award. Through a process of industry consultation and nomination; emerging creative practitioners in specific disciplines are surprised with a physical A; crafted by a different designer in each instance. The first A awards (designed by Ah and made from recycled Christmas Trees by Fabien Cappello) were awarded for illustration. See the recipients here.
