YCN Student Awards - VisitScotland

David Tolmie, a student at Dundee University had his commended film for the YCN Student Awards' VisitScotland brief shown at this year's Edinburgh Film Festival.
The brief was to create a film which supported VisitScotland’s Perfect Day campaign. David's animation features a Yup’yit; a character created to show that Scotland as a country is different from what people might expect.
David’s film was screened on the BBC Big Screen in Edinburgh’s Festival Square during festival - shown above is David standing beneath his winning film!

Collecting Work

Due to a high volume of entries to the most recent YCN Student Awards and a lack of storage space at YCN, we are asking that all work is collected by Wednesday 30th June.
After this date all remaining work will be recycled.
Work is available to collect from Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm from our gallery space at 72 Rivington Street. If you are unable to make it in but would like your work back please email kezia@ycnonline.com with your name, University, description of your work and the address that you would like the work to be posted to. We will then arrange for your work to be posted back to you and will ask you to send us a cheque to cover the postal costs.
